REGULATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Alfredo’s Driving School, Inc. welcomes you. The school has a genuine concern for each student and will be responsible for teaching the best possible Driver’s Education Program available at the lowest cost. Most students complete their course of study during the contracted time, but A few do not. These students are costly to the school because they change and have to make up lessons, taking away valuable teaching time from reliable students. Please read the rules carefully which apply to students who do not attend and finish their course of study in the agreed time and schedule.

RULES

Instructor will show the utmost respect for each student, and in return it is expected that each student will respect the instructor and fellow students. The instructor will ask students to leave class or be expelled from the school if the list rules of conduct below are broken. To complete the approved Driver Education Course successfully and receive a pink copy of Student Record and Completion form of completion program, the student shall: Achieve a passing score on all required knowledge tests.
Demonstrate the ability to operate a motor vehicle safety and effectively in traffic by achieving a passing score on all the Behind-The-Wheel evaluations.
In addition to the student contract, students shall be counseled out of a Driver Education Course if they behave in a manner that is detrimental to the normal progression of the course or demonstrate the inability to understand the units of instruction or maneuver the training vehicle in a safe manner.
Alfredo’s Driving School will submit and utilize the Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) Electronic Data Entry to input each student’s certificate of completion after he or she receive a passing score on each course assignment.
NOTE: Alfredo’s Driving School, Inc., will keep the student’s record for three (3) years on file.

Driver Education Program: The Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) requires providers to complete the entire course in sixteen (16) weeks. Alfredo’s Driving School, Inc. will allow students to complete the entire course in six (6) months. Otherwise the student will have to restart the entire Driver’s Education Program.

GENERAL INFORMATION

REGISTRATION
The school requires a minimum of ten (10) students otherwise class shall not begin, and the enrollment fee will be refunded. Due to limit room capacity, reservation must be paid in advance. “Walk-in” registrations are acceptable if there available seating on the first day of class.

REFUND POLICY
If a student chooses to withdraw from Alfredo’s Driving School, Inc. he/she may do so ONLY by providing a written notice of an intent to withdraw. Fees will be reimbursed based on the following schedule: Withdrawal prior to start: 100% of fees paid. Withdrawal after start: 55% of fees paid divided by 30 hours for each hour of classroom not completed. 45% of fees paid divided by 6 hours for each or Behind-The-Wheel instruction not completed. Note: All students who withdraw will receive documentation of training received. This documentation may be used to transfer to a new driving school.

BALANCE
All balance must be paid within 15 days of the course START DATE, If a payment is not made during the first 15 days of the course Start Date, there will be a $45.00 late fee assessed, and an additional $10.00 late fee for payment received 30 days after the course Start Date. Behind-The-Wheel training will only be scheduled when all fees are paid in full.

OFFICE HOURS
Office hours are from 10:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday. Lunch time 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Saturday and Sunday classroom only.

CLASS INFORMATION
Students start on “Day One” and continue to advance in unit sequence until “Day Ten” to finish the thirty (30) hour classroom. A student who miss the first class cannot attend the remainder of the two week session. The six (6) hours of driving can be completed either during the two weeks of classroom or after. Then, a Driver Completion Certificate of Electronic Data Entry will be issued. Weekday classes are held from Monday to Friday. Weekend classes are held on Saturday and Sunday only.

MAKE-UP
To receive the final examination, the students must pass All Unit tests with a score of at least 80%. No more than two (2) classes can be made-up. More than two (2) missed classes will require the student to restart the entire Driver Education Program over. Students can attend “Make-Up” classes if seats are available and classroom is not filled to capacity. Students must call first to find out if seating is available for him/her. MAKE-UP FINAL TEST CHARGE FEE $20.00

CLASSROOM BOOKS
Must be returned to Alfredo’s Driving School, Inc. in the condition that they were received. Students must reimburse $50.00 to Alfredo’s for failure to return their books or if books are returned in poor condition at the end of the course.

BEHIND-THE-WHEEL CANCELATION
Notify us 24 hours in advance if you wish to cancel an already arranged In-Car schedule, otherwise students will be charged a $50.00 cancellation fee for no shows. STUDENTS WITHOUTS LEARNERS
Students who register without a Learner’s Permit can only take the Driver Education Program theory classes. They have 30 days after starting the 36Hrs Driver Education Program to regularize their situation. During those 30 days the student must bring their new Learner’s Permit to schedule their Behind-The-Wheel classes. Otherwise, they will have to pay additional charges to program their Behind-The-Wheel classes.

TARDY
Students must be in class on time. Students must be in class no later than fifteen (15) minutes. After fifteen minutes students will not receive credit for the day.

CLASS DISRUPTION
A student who repeatedly distracts and disrupts class either by misbehaving and/or persistently talking shall be dismissed and received no credit hours. The school official will report the incident to the student’s parent/guardian. The school reserves the right to discharge the students from class.

APPOINTMENTS
All driving appointments must be scheduled after all checks have cleared and students must schedule them in person. Students will be picked up from the Alfredo’s Driving School, Inc. Main Office.

VANDALIZE
A student who vandalizes school properties shall be expelled. The student or parent/guardian shall be responsible. No refund shall be given. These regulations apply to all students or clients enrolled at Alfredo’s Driving School, Inc.

FINAL TEST
Final tests will only be given to students who complete all units (Units 1 through 8.)

STUDENT CONSENT CLAUSE
I will not hold Alfredo’s Driving School, Inc., it’s representatives, agents, or heirs, responsible for any expense, claims, or liability arising from an injury from an unforeseen circumstance while attending the Driver’s Education Course which includes 30 hours of classroom instructions plus 6 hours of Behind-The-Wheel training.

CERTIFICATE
Alfredo’s Driving School, Inc. submits and utilizes the Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) Electronic Data Entry to input each student’s Certificate of Completion who receive a passing score on each course assignment and Final Test. (48 hours). Alfredo’s Driving School, Inc., well keep the student’s record for three (3) years on file.
